Historically, Africa has been excluded from explicit immigration policy in the US. But to its credit, the Biden Administration has been willing to extend Temporary Portected Status to some Africans living in the US, specifically those from Somalía, Sudan, South Sudan and Cameroon.
If you or someone about whom you care are from one of these African nations and are currently in the US with no status (or status set to expire within the next 18 months), feel free to contact us to discuss your legal options. Keep in mind, these designations can and do change with the political wind. It is therefore best to apply as soon as possible. We are here to help.
